The Liberty Art Award – UK is a programme designed to support emerging artists transitioning from art school to the commercial art world. 

Since 2018, we have supported the development of 35 artists. Our current cycle features 12 artists from The University of Brighton – School of Art, The Art Academy London, Chelsea College of Arts and Kingston School of Art. From 2026, due to the success of the programme, the number of universities has been expanded to all arts universities and colleges in the UK. 

The programme provides artists with the commercial skills needed to build a sustainable career, including development opportunities through mentoring, networking, and workshops covering topics like personal branding and gallery relationships.
